Here at Gateway Media we often have our own fun side projects to occupy our non-working hours, and Manu Sainz, our video editor and camera man, has just completed one of those – a music video. The rock band Grand Central, who are soon to be signing an important contract with Warner, enlisted Manu’s expertise to direct, edit and produce the video for their song, "My Star".
There was no budget for the project, which took two weeks pre-production, two weeks post-production and one day to film - which we think it pretty impressive when we see the results!
The band, consisting of brothers Cade (vocals) and Ryan Hannan (guitar), worked with producers Andy Ramsey (Stereolab) and Paul Tipler (Placebo, Elastica, Charlatans) for this single, and their first offering "Take My Hand”, was chosen by Microsoft for a Windows 7 International marketing campaign – so an excellent opportunity for Manu indeed!
And here is the video:

Adios!
