Remember a few months ago we were delighting at the chocolately mail that landed on our desks courtesy of Cadbury? Well yesterday we had a similar bouncey feeling as two purple and white boxes were brought over from reception...
There was actually no pun intended at the time of writing the previous sentence, but on reflection, yes – a pretty apt word. Cadbury are still going with their Spots V Stripes campaign and this time have created a new game for us to have fun with in the office, on the road, at home…er…actually pretty much anywhere. And that game is?
Yes...the simple throwing-and-catching-a-ball game that you probably played a thousand times as a child is going to be taking the country by storm - but only until next Monday. The idea is: there are 50 spotty balls and 50 stripy balls and if you are one of the lucky 100 people to be sent a ball (as we were) then you get to begin the game. That person throws the ball to someone and they throw it to someone else and so on, taking photos of the each person who caught it. Now here is the clever bit – the balls are all GPS tracked, and whichever ball travels the further through the most hands, is the winner. And one of the people whose hands it travelled through will win £5,000.
So needless to say, we’ll be taking a few train journeys this week. Perhaps it’s time for another alternative route to work? Or a sneaky sick day to view the Eiffel Tower?
All we’ll say now is…it’s a shame Canary Wharf has a severe lack of signal. Maybe I’ll work from home tomorrow.
Oh and yes and there were TWO purple and white boxes weren't there? Here is the other...we'll try not to get the two confused...
